Planning your first home visit: what to look for

A site visit is your chance to understand a home beyond its photographs. At Pankaj Homes, you can speak with the team about the project that interests you and arrange a closer look at its spaces. A little preparation makes that conversation more useful.

Start with your everyday routine

Write down the rooms you need, the people who will use them and the furniture you plan to bring. Consider a work area, storage, visiting family and the path from the entrance to the kitchen. Take a measuring tape and your notes along.

Walk through each room

Look at the positions of doors and windows, the circulation space around a bed or dining table, and the locations of sockets. Observe daylight and airflow during your visit. If natural light is a priority, ask whether you can visit at a second time of day.

Look closely at the details

Ask about the specified flooring, bathroom fittings, kitchen provisions and storage. Check which features are included in the quoted price and which are optional. A rendering can communicate a design idea; the written specifications explain what is included.

Check access and shared facilities

Explore the entrance, stairs, lift access and parking arrangement where provided. Ask how utility areas and shared services are used and maintained. For parking, understand the location and allocation of the spaces associated with the floor.

Leave with clear next steps

Request the current floor plan, specifications, availability and written price breakdown. Note the questions that need a follow-up rather than relying on memory. Share your preferred project and visit date with Pankaj Homes to plan your next conversation.
